About the role
- Shape and help execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy that aligns with BioNTech’s corporate objectives and long-term growth ambitions
- Design and lead strategic cross-functional initiatives and projects to enhance communication and engagement with investment community
- Your engagements will help build trust and credibility with the investment community including broad range of institutional investors, analysts, and other key financial stakeholders
- Develop and optimize BioNTech’s equity narrative crafting presentations, press releases, and scripts to articulate the value of technology platforms, pipeline assets, clinical development strategy and long-term growth potential
- Steer quarterly earnings, including interface with management and cross-functional teams, messaging, key materials, and investor engagement
- Enhance IR’s internal strategic value and thought leadership through Interface optimization and high-quality interactions with management board and with leaders across all functions
- Oversee a high-impact IR event calendar, including roadshows, investor and medical conferences, IR company events such as R&D Days, and quarterly updates
- Utilize insights from market activity, policy updates, financial trends, competitor landscape, and shareholder concerns to fine tune investor engagement and communication
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and industry standards in all communications and internal and external engagements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced academic credentials (MBA or master's degree) preferred for strategic impact
- 12 years or more years of relevant professional experience required; could include investor relations, corporate communications, corporate development, competitive intelligence, business consulting, equity research or similar roles within biopharmaceutical space
- Proven ability to lead, build relationships and influence across functions and levels of leadership
- Strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced working environments with ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, with a dynamic approach to ensure delivery of high-quality outputs to deadlines
- Understanding of financial reporting and valuation techniques used by investment professionals
- Strong attention to detail, and ability to review and deliver high-quality, accurate content and documents directly to investors and executives
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills for presenting complex topics clearly and concisely in various settings.
