About the role

  • Lead and mentor a team of skilled engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, accountability, productivity, and high performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the technical roadmap, aligning with Binti’s mission and business objectives.
  • Oversee the end-to-end development process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-friendly software that addresses the unique challenges of the child welfare space.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation within the engineering team, contributing to the long-term success and scalability of Binti’s platform.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, with a focus on user experience and system performance.
  • Implement and champion agile development methodologies, ensuring the team operates efficiently and adapts to evolving project needs.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing engineering teams to high performance, ideally in a SaaS or tech start-up environment with at least 5-7 years of management experience.
  • Strong technical background with experience in full-stack development, cloud computing, and scalable architecture.
  • Ability to align technical strategies with business priorities and goals, contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • A genuine interest in leveraging technology to address social challenges, with a strong sense of purpose in improving outcomes for children in need.
