About the role
- Build and drive Channel & Alliances strategy through cross functional collaboration with product, sales, marketing, delivery and more; emphasizing technical alliances, systems integrators, value-added resellers, incident response, managed services providers, advisory, and other channel partnerships that will help to accelerate sales
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for key partnerships including Palo Alto Networks, Google, and others; evaluate new strategic partners for GTM potential
- Identify and recruit new strategic partners in collaboration with the SVP, Strategic Partnerships
- Cultivate relationships with senior level leadership at strategic partners and customers
- Develop technical enablement content and programs to educate and enable partners
- Collaborating cross-organizationally, develop or improve on how we operationalize GTM channel motions (e.g. IR, MSP, GSIs)
- Collaborate with the sales team, channel partners, and customer success to understand customer needs and devise ways to accelerate sales cycles
- Develop partnership focused thought leadership content and case studies to educate internal and external audiences
- Enable internal teams by demonstrating effective pitching of Binary Defense products, emphasizing business value and unique selling points
- Work closely with product team to influence product roadmaps in alignment with key alliances roadmaps, along with field feedback, customer input, and industry trends
- Stay abreast of industry trends, acting as a cybersecurity thought leader in internal discussions, customer meetings, and public events
- Represent Binary Defense at industry events with our alliances partner
- Support the sales teams where Alliances and new technologies are a factor
- Be the technical champion for our Marketplace strategy with Google, AWS & Microsoft
- Partner with Product Marketing teams to spread awareness and support pipeline building via customer roundtables, conferences, events, blogs, webinars, and white papers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems or ~10+ years of IT sales or solution architecture experience.
- 5-10 years of industry-related experience and 5+ years of experience in a role similar to CTO, CISO, COO, CIO, VP/Dir of Engineering, Operations, Product Development, or Global Solutions
- 10+ years of architecture experience building, consulting or implementing technology.
- Knowledgeable in the challenges impacting the cybersecurity industry and the application of industry-specific use cases.
- A broad range of experience with technical and design direction that may also include large-scale SIEM implementations, EPP/EDR/XDR/MDR, IR, VA/VM, and public cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity providers, and adjacent industries such as cyber insurance, and backup and recovery.
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and challenges and how to impact organizational maturity.
- The ability to travel to customer sites, industry events and other related events as required (up to 50% travel required)
