About the role
- Own the month-end close process and deliver accurate, timely financial reports
- Build and maintain internal controls that protect our assets and keep us compliant
- Coordinate statutory audits and work hand-in-hand with external auditors
- Ensure all tax filings and regulatory requirements are met on time
- Spot opportunities to streamline and improve finance processes, including leveraging AI tools
- Stay on top of changes in financial regulations and keep us ahead of the curve
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar (CPA or equivalent is a big plus)
- At least 6-8 years’ experience in accounting or finance, especially with month-end close, controls, and reporting
- Solid understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and other accounting standards
- Comfortable with accounting software and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
- Proactive, hands-on, and able to work both independently and with a team
- Great communicator who can collaborate across departments
- Thrives in a fast-moving environment and adapts well to change
