About the role

  • Partner with leaders and managers to align people priorities with business goals and operational needs.
  • Build strong relationships within supported departments through regular engagement, presence in team meetings, and proactive partnership.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee performance, team dynamics, communication, and leadership practices.
  • Support leaders through change initiatives (team growth, restructures, role clarity, and integration of new ways of working).
  • Support workforce planning and talent needs by understanding role requirements, capability gaps, and team growth priorities.
  • Partner with leaders on performance management practices including goal-setting, feedback, coaching, and development planning.
  • Help drive key talent processes (talent reviews, succession discussions, development planning) through consistent facilitation and follow-through.
  • Collaborate with recruiting and talent partners to support hiring strategy, interview practices, and onboarding success.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee relations needs; coach managers on addressing issues early and consistently.
  • Investigate and resolve employee concerns with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment, partnering with Legal and People Operations as needed.
  • Champion a high-trust, inclusive culture by reinforcing company values in day-to-day leadership behaviors and people practices.
  • Support engagement efforts by partnering with leaders to interpret feedback and implement focused improvement actions.
  • Use people data and insights (turnover, engagement, performance trends) to identify themes and make recommendations.
  • Support leaders in applying HR policies and practices consistently and in alignment with employment standards.
  • Collaborate with People Operations and HR COEs to execute programs effectively (compensation cycles, performance cycles, engagement surveys, policy updates).
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and employee experience within supported client groups.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, including experience as an HRBP or in an HR Generalist role supporting leaders and employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with managers and mid-level leaders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid foundation in employee relations, performance management, and HR policy application.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust, influence, and navigate sensitive situations.
  • Ability to connect business needs to practical people solutions; developing business acumen and consultative approach.
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and balancing multiple priorities across a client group.
  • Experience supporting growth, scale, or organizational change strongly preferred.
