About the role

  • Drive the design and delivery of modern Data Governance frameworks for enterprise clients
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across business and IT to define governance strategy
  • Embed ownership models and implement scalable processes that enable trusted data
  • Establish governance forums, escalation pathways, and decision-making processes
  • Deliver governance deliverables including policies, standards, controls, and governance KPIs
  • Drive implementation of business glossary and metadata management processes
  • Support identification and management of Critical Data Elements (CDEs)
  • Work closely with Ataccama teams to embed governance workflows and approvals
  • Partner with compliance, legal, and risk stakeholders for regulatory alignment
  • Deliver training and enablement sessions for Data Owners and Data Stewards
  • Track governance adoption and maturity progress across the organisation

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering enterprise Data Governance programmes
  • Strong knowledge of governance operating models, stewardship, metadata, and lineage
  • Experience implementing governance tools (Ataccama, Collibra, Alation, Informatica etc.)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across senior business and IT teams
  • Ability to drive adoption and embed governance into BAU operations
  • Experience in regulated environments (financial services / insurance preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and delivery mindset
