Program Officer

• Support the Deputy Director and investment officers on a wide range of investment-related activities, including serving as primary or secondary officer on select grants and contracts, co-investing alongside colleagues across the team and division, helping arrange meetings with partners, meeting with partners, synthesizing notes and plans, and leading projects
• Conduct literature reviews, synthesize research findings, and produce clear written reports and presentations to inform investment strategy and advise grantees and partners

Associate Program Officer – Digitally Enabled Teaching and Learning

LLM Engineer

• Build and integrate crucial public good infrastructure to support evidence-based AI-native data system implementation that strengthens data feedback loops.
• Lead a research and development portfolio to test, co-develop, and refine integrated data and AI infrastructure solutions in real-world education and workforce contexts.
• Design and lead iterative learning cycles at the intersection of the AI Infrastructure and System Feedback Loops (SFL) portfolios.
• Generate actionable evidence about what conditions, infrastructure configurations, and integrated approaches accelerate impact for learners.
• Apply mastery-level expertise in implementation research and education data systems, and a proactive, solutions-oriented perspective to navigate ambiguity and drive thorough, equity-centered inquiry in partnership with grantees, researchers, and cross-divisional colleagues.

Senior Program Officer, Data & AI Infrastructure Integration

• Steward existing evidence strategy across the Digital Holistic Student Supports portfolio, ensuring alignment with solution development and scaling goals
• Lead an active portfolio of grants and contracts, ensuring continuity, quality, and timely execution of evidence-building activities
• Identify and raise risks, gaps, and opportunities, and support appropriate adjustments to keep portfolio measurement and evaluation activities on track
• Be responsible for evaluation approaches (implemented through grants, contracts, and partners) to ensure high-quality execution and alignment with established evidence strategy
• Monitor and assess AI system performance and real-world use, including adoption, reliability, and appropriate reliance on AI-driven decision support
• Identify and flag risks, gaps, and contextual constraints (e.g., data infrastructure, institutional readiness) that may affect system performance and downstream outcomes
• Lead and be responsible for external evaluations (e.g., RCTs, quasi-experimental studies, etc.) to assess impact on downstream learner outcomes such as credit accumulation, persistence, and other measures of education progression and success
