About the role
- Lead in the assembly and disassembly of a wide variety of cranes
- Direct and ensure quality of work of other personnel
- Communicate with dispatchers, brokers, and truck drivers transporting cranes
- Manage the load out or offload of crane parts
- Ensure cranes are assembled correctly using the right equipment and rigging
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements, training, and Job Hazard Analysis
Requirements
- Must have knowledge and competency regarding OSHA requirements
- Detailed knowledge of heavy lifting and heavy hauling technologies (mobile cranes, platform trailers, beam and dolly trailers.)
- Experience working with several of the following equipment: -Liebherr: LR 1160, LR 1200 SX, LR 1250, LR 1300 SX, LR 1400, LR 1750, LR 11000. -Link-Belt: LS 238, LS 248o Terex/American: HC 165, HC 275 -Manitowoc: 11000, 777, 888, 999, 2250, 14000, 16000, MLC 650 -Kobelco: CK 1100G, CK 1600, CK 2000, CK 2750G
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
