About the role
- Owning and developing assigned Method Statements and quality responses, ensuring full compliance with specifications and bid requirements
- Working closely with the Business Development Manager to create, develop, and complete all quality elements throughout each stage of the bid process
- Creating and maintaining compliance matrices to track progress and adherence to client requirements
- Producing internal reports and papers for progress meetings, sign-off approvals, the Investment Committee, and Group Board
- Liaising with internal stakeholders including Fleet, HR, IT, and Procurement to ensure specialist content remains accurate and up to date
Requirements
- Degree-level education (or equivalent experience) with proven experience in bid writing, tendering, or pricing
- Excellent written communication, numeracy, and attention to detail, producing clear, high-quality submissions
- Highly organised and self-motivated, able to manage multiple deadlines in a time-critical, commercial environment
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills, engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Collaborative team player with a track record of supporting complex projects and meeting KPI-driven objectives
- IT-literate, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems, and flexibility to meet demanding deadlines
