About the role

  • Own intake experience and lead centralized intake team serving multiple regions and states
  • Establish clear performance expectations and accountability across the intake function
  • Use data and analytics to understand barriers, improve flow and continuously improve the process
  • Build strong Partnerships with Services, Revenue Cycle, Recruiting and Outreach to enable timely and effective client starts and onboarding
  • Work cross-functionally to surface, resolve, and prevent delays or barriers to families starting services
  • Other tasks as needed/necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8–10+ years of experience in healthcare intake (preferably behavioral health/ autism/ pediatrics) admissions, access, care coordination, or a closely related function in a complex service environment
  • 3–5+ years of people leadership experience, including direct management of a multi-person team
  • Demonstrated ownership of an end-to-end intake or access funnel, including responsibility for speed, quality, and consistency
  • Experience operating in a multi-state, multi-payer healthcare environment, with real exposure to payer rules, authorizations, and related complexity
  • Proven ability to use data and funnel analytics (e.g., HubSpot or equivalent) to optimize work, and drive improvement
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with experience partnering closely with clinical/ operations/revenue cycle leaders
  • Experience in high-growth and fast-paced scaling healthcare organizations
  • Experience building or evolving intake systems & workflows
  • Ability to lead with high empathy and clarity
