• Serve as the go-to for employee relations questions and coach people managers
• Own and maintain the employee handbook, including state-specific policy updates
• Support benefits administration through Justworks, including open enrollment and trainings
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes end to end
• Maintain compliance with I-9s, E-Verify, state-specific employment law, and general HR housekeeping
• Support performance management processes, including check-ins, performance improvement conversations, and year-end reviews
• Advise leadership on organizational design, career architecture, performance management, promotions, and employee relations
• Run full-cycle recruiting for open roles, from job description writing through offers
• Partner with hiring managers to understand role needs and build efficient interview processes
• Create repeatable hiring materials, including interview guides, scorecards, and offer templates
• Manage candidate pipelines and communications through Breezy ATS
• Report directly to co-founders Tim and Jess and operate with autonomy
