About the role
- Manage accounts receivable collections by tactfully chasing outstanding payments.
- Allocate incoming payments accurately to customer accounts within the Point of Sale system.
- Act as the primary point of contact for store managers regarding accounts receivable queries.
- Engage with customers to respond to inquiries and build strong, professional relationships.
- Prepare and manage sales invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee accurate billing.
- Maintain financial accuracy through regular bank reconciliations and promptly address any queries.
- Generate regular receivable reports and support month-end financial procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts receivable function.
- Support the finance team with various ad-hoc requests to contribute to our collective success.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role
- Existing accounting knowledge
- Experience using iPlicit, Xero, Netsuite or other accounting software
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Good to have Accounting/bookkeeping certification (or working towards)
- Must have Authorisation to work in the United States
