About the role

  • Manage accounts receivable collections by tactfully chasing outstanding payments.
  • Allocate incoming payments accurately to customer accounts within the Point of Sale system.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for store managers regarding accounts receivable queries.
  • Engage with customers to respond to inquiries and build strong, professional relationships.
  • Prepare and manage sales invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee accurate billing.
  • Maintain financial accuracy through regular bank reconciliations and promptly address any queries.
  • Generate regular receivable reports and support month-end financial procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts receivable function.
  • Support the finance team with various ad-hoc requests to contribute to our collective success.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role
  • Existing accounting knowledge
  • Experience using iPlicit, Xero, Netsuite or other accounting software
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Good to have Accounting/bookkeeping certification (or working towards)
  • Must have Authorisation to work in the United States
