Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers, managing, coaching, and developing a high-performing team that fosters continuous improvement and technical excellence
Drive continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, tools, and workflows to increase production output, reduce cycle times, and minimize defects
Serve as key technical lead for New Product Introduction (NPI), leading DFM, DFA and PFMEA initiatives to ensure seamless transitions from development to production
Provide hands-on technical support to contract manufacturing production lines, quickly resolving issues and implementing robust corrective and preventive actions
Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Software, Technical Service and Program Management to drive strategic initiatives and ensure organizational alignment
Utilize data and analytics to monitor KPIs, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve manufacturing operations
Own full lifecycle manufacturing responsibilities to scale production and implement best practices that deliver quality, service, and cost efficiency
Requirements
A minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing or manufacturing engineering, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role
Demonstrated results setting up and leading production of electromechanical contract manufacturing partners, domestic and international
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
Deep expertise in manufacturing processes, including lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and assembly line optimization
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proven track record of solving complex production issues
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team to achieve ambitious goals
Ability to be in the office 4-5 days per week
Must be able to travel up to 25%, mainly domestic with occasional overseas travel (3-5 times/year)
