About the role
- Map and monitor new tenders and technical projects in the concessions market, both private and public, identifying project service lines, technical requirements, applicable products and decision makers;
- Conduct technical site visits and meetings with key clients, understand the service plans and applications of each concessionaire, and propose technical alternatives aligned with road construction and/or maintenance needs;
- Prepare and present value-added proposals to clients including preliminary techno-economic studies, application alternatives and recommendations of products and technologies;
- Support the Executive Technical Marketing Lead with technical and commercial analyses, market information and sales strategy development for the portfolio to expand the company's presence in the concessions segment;
- Develop budgets and price compositions for technical solutions and projects, aligning client expectations with technical and commercial feasibility;
- Monitor contract execution and identify opportunities for incremental contract amendments by evaluating projects outside the initial scope of tenders;
- Engage with technical agencies (DNIT/DER/SEINFRA) and related stakeholders (designers, project supervisors, universities and research centers) to strengthen institutional presence and technical alignment with applicable requirements and standards;
- Anticipate scenarios and propose pre-sales solutions, influencing the technical positioning of projects before the formulation of commercial tenders in the private and public sectors in Brazil and LATAM.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Civil Engineering.
- Postgraduate degree or Master's in related fields preferred;
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the paving sector, with proven work involving asphalt binders, road works and technical interface with concessionaires, the private sector and public agencies;
- Experience in preparing technical projects and developing technical sales;
- Publications, presentations or active participation in technical congresses are a plus;
- Strong knowledge of pavement engineering and asphalt materials (CAPs, AMPs, Emulsions, AMBs, blends);
- Familiarity with technical standards (DNIT, DER, ABNT) and pavement design with product specification (traffic classes, pavement structures, etc.);
- Understanding of decision-making dynamics within concessionaires, public agencies and designers;
- Understanding of decision dynamics regarding products and suppliers in pre-sales and technical assistance in after-sales relationships;
- Ability to construct technical arguments that demonstrate the value-added benefits of Betunel's product portfolio;
- Knowledge of technical marketing, portfolio management and product positioning;
- Mandatory willingness to travel, conduct technical site visits and participate in industry forums and events.
