Customer Success Manager

• Manage a book of customers with a focus on driving business value from onboarding through renewal.
• Communicate with all levels within a customer’s organization to develop trusted relationships with executive sponsors, primary contacts, and end-users.
• Promote customer delight and loyalty by developing an understanding of their key HR / Compensation objectives and helping them achieve those objectives using BetterComp.
• Ensure customers are aware of product updates and new features.
• Guide customers in their use of BetterComp to facilitate execution of cyclical compensation business processes.
• Participate in the initial product implementation as part of the BetterComp implementation team.
• Create a seamless experience for customers as they navigate early onboarding and ongoing product adoption.
• Function as a communications liaison between customers and internal teams post implementation.
• Proactively monitor and manage customer health, risk, opportunities, and renewals.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, draft solutions, and advocate for change.
• Contribute to helping build our Customer Success function and processes.

• Manage a book of customer implementations with a focus on actively engaging with clients to thoroughly grasp their business processes, challenges, and objectives
• Ability to translate the client’s business requirements into actionable plans and technical setup specifications
• Lead the initial product implementation by guiding customers in their setup of BetterComp in a manner that facilitates the execution of their compensation business processes
• Communicate with all levels within a customer’s organization to develop trusted relationships with executive sponsors, primary contacts, and end-users
• Promote customer delight and loyalty by developing an understanding of the key objectives driving their decisions to purchase BetterComp and their “Day 1” objectives for system utilization
• Function as a communications liaison between customers and internal teams during implementation
• Proactively monitor and manage customer challenges, risks, and opportunities as they relate to implementing a new system
• Proactively identify and provide support when implementation objectives require change management within the organization
• Identify process improvement opportunities, draft solutions, and advocate for change

• Design and execute the roadmap for transforming data operations – combining near-term efficiency gains with long-term automation and AI-driven improvements.
• Partner with engineering and design as the PM for data initiatives, prioritizing opportunities that deliver measurable value for both internal teams and customers.
• Lead and develop the Data Operations team, including training, prioritization, and performance.
• Oversee daily and seasonal data file processing to ensure timely, high-quality delivery for customers while continuously driving toward smarter, automated solutions.
• Build and strengthen partnerships with external survey houses to make incoming data more efficient and reliable, while also exploring ways to help shape future industry-wide data output standards.
• Use data to inform prioritization, measure progress, and celebrate milestones along the transformation journey.
