About the role
- Assist in designing and executing functional, regression, and integration tests
- Write, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases for frontend and backend systems
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to understand business requirements and ensure test coverage
- Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies using tools like JIRA
- Contribute to development and maintenance of automated test scripts
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and QA-related reviews
- Monitor performance and validate fixes across systems and features
- Continuously learn QA methodologies and tools to grow technical and domain expertise
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong interest in a Quality Assurance or software testing career path, particularly within technology-driven financial services
- Hands-on experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., JavaScript/React, SQL)
- Knowledge of web application testing concepts
- Experience with REST APIs and SQL/NoSQL databases
- Ability to write basic test cases and automation scripts
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
- Experience with QA/test management tools (e.g., JIRA, regression testing platforms)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn from cross-functional teams
- Preferred: Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Postman)
- Preferred: Experience with AG Grid
