About the role
- Perform and review complex accounting and tax routines, including classification, reconciliations, tax calculations and submission of statutory filings.
- Prepare, review and analyze financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare, verify and review SPED Contábil (ECD), ECF and other periodic filings, ensuring compliance with CPCs/IFRS and applicable tax legislation.
- Serve domestic and international clients, participating in meetings in English to present results and align accounting and tax processes.
- Prepare financial and tax reports in English, translating technical information into clear, executive-level language.
- Interact directly with controllers, CFOs and international teams, ensuring alignment between Brazilian standards and global reporting frameworks.
- Support internal and external audits, providing technical information in Portuguese and English.
- Actively contribute to accounting and tax improvements, automations and standardizations, promoting efficiency and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Solid experience in complex accounting and tax routines.
- Proficiency in CPCs, IFRS, ECD, ECF and applicable tax legislation.
- Advanced English, with the ability to lead meetings and prepare technical reports.
- Intermediate/advanced Excel and familiarity with accounting ERPs.
- Preferably experience with multinational companies or firms serving international clients.
- Experience with automation of accounting and tax processes.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other data analysis tools.
