About the role

  • Design end-to-end cloud architecture solutions aligned with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Define and implement cloud adoption strategies, including public, private, and hybrid cloud models.
  • Evaluate existing systems and make recommendations for cloud migration, modernization, and optimization.
  • Establish cloud governance, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Networking, and Application teams to ensure integrated and seamless deployment.
  • Lead architecture reviews, cloud assessments, and proof-of-concept efforts.
  • Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and roadmaps.
  • Mentor development and infrastructure teams on cloud best practices and architectural standards.

Requirements

  • EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required.
  • CERTIFICATIONS: One or more preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional; Azure Solutions Architect - Expert.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing and implementing solutions on one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Systems administration, software development, or enterprise architecture experience.
  • Advanced container experience with Docker and Kubernetes or other container orchestration platform.
  • Demonstrated experience with scripting languages.
  • Solid knowledge of cloud networking (VPCs, VPN, DNS, Load Balancing), storage, and compute services.
  • Understanding of security, identity management, and compliance in the cloud (IAM, encryption, audit logging).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
