About the role
- Collaborate closely with the product development leader, playing a pivotal role in the development of new products and the maintenance of existing lines of business.
- Assists in the development, drafting, and enhancement of forms and forms language, including strategic input and actionable recommendations.
- Support the design, development, and implementation of system and process solutions that align with the forms implementation strategy.
- Collaborate with training and marketing to develop communication, training, and marketing materials in support of new or enhanced products and initiatives.
- May require delivery of training materials or content.
- Conduct competitor intelligence research.
- Demonstrate awareness of each state’s regulatory environment and legislative rules to ensure that compliance standards are met.
- Document, maintain, and version control forms attachment logic.
- Collaborate with Strategic Business Analysis Unit for the purposes of ad-hoc analysis to support strategies and initiatives.
- Creates, maintains and version controls templates, documentation and schedules for underwriting audit.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred with concentration in Risk Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Math, Statistics or Actuarial Sciences, (J.D. preferred but not required)
- 5 + years of Commercial Product or Underwriting experience.
- Must have knowledge of industry trends, state regulations, and compliance processes.
- Strong analytical and writing skills; attention to detail
- Must be comfortable and proficient working in a matrixed environment, with stakeholders at various levels and in various departments.
