About the role

  • Develop and implement rigorous research methodologies to support real-world evidence generation, including epidemiological and pharmacoepidemiological research, and health economics & outcomes research (HEOR)
  • Analyze diverse healthcare data sources, including, but not limited to, health insurance claims data, electronic health records, clinical trial data, registries, and survey data, using statistical tools such as SQL, R, SAS, Stata, Python, etc.
  • Design and generate client deliverables and make valuable contributions to technical study reports.
  • Manage client relationships and communicate results and work product as appropriate.
  • Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium sized client engagements and discrete segments of larger projects, including prioritizing assignments and responsibilities to meet deadlines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment
  • Delegate assignments to staff, instruct and monitor progress, and review work product for completeness and accuracy.

Requirements

  • PhD in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Science, or other data science related disciplines is required
  • Minimum of 1 year of directly relevant work experience in real-world evidence research, consulting, the pharmaceutical industry, or federal government roles focused on epidemiology or HEOR
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with demonstrated experience in statistical programming, data analysis, and applying rigorous methods to real-world research
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to independently execute complex data analytics in at least one programming language (e.g., SQL, R, SAS, Stata, Python etc.), and to interpret results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences and contribute effectively in a team environment, including supervising junior colleagues
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and high-quality work.
