About the role
- The Medical Manager, Solid Tumor is responsible for the local medical execution of tislelizumab in Malaysia
- Supports scientific exchange, medical education, and coordination of locally relevant evidence generation
- Focuses on priority solid tumor indications, including NPC and NSCLC, while supporting additional indications as they are introduced
- Translates medical strategy into consistent, high-quality, and compliant execution
- Acts as the primary local medical owner for tislelizumab
- Develops and maintains strong scientific knowledge across priority solid tumor indications
- Ensures consistency of medical messaging across indications, sectors (public and private), and engagement formats
- Conducts scientific exchange with oncologists and multidisciplinary stakeholders
- Plans and executes advisory boards, scientific meetings, and peer-to-peer discussions
- Plans and delivers medical education activities aligned with the local Medical Plan
- Identifies local evidence gaps relevant to clinical practice, access, and policy discussions
- Reviews and approves local medical materials used in scientific engagements
- Collaborates with MSLs, commercial, access, and regional teams to support aligned execution
Requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS/MD), pharmacy degree (BPharm/PharmD), or postgraduate degree (Master’s or PhD) in a relevant life sciences discipline
- 3–6 years of experience in Medical Affairs, preferably in oncology
- Experience in solid tumors
- Comfortable working in a focused, evolving affiliate environment
- Preferred Immuno-oncology experience (PD-1 / PD-L1)
- Experience engaging public-sector stakeholders in Malaysia
- Exposure to RWE or HEOR-related medical projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, basic Excel)
- Comfortable with virtual meeting platforms (e.g. Zoom, MS Teams)
- Able to review and work with medical publications, slide decks, and summary data
- Familiarity with Medical Affairs CRM systems (e.g. Veeva) is an advantage
- Regular in-country travel within Malaysia (approximately 25–40%); Occasional regional travel for meetings or training
