About the role

  • Provide local input into global and regional product strategies
  • Drive local go-to-market strategy
  • Support development of local and regional Medical strategies
  • Lead a team of Medical Associates
  • Establish relationships with opinion leaders and key organizations
  • Facilitate local medical meetings
  • Collaborate with local, regional and global teams
  • Develop educational and training materials
  • Monitor strategic partnerships with scientific experts
  • Support local Medical Affairs budget planning

Requirements

  • MD Physician / PhD with a minimum of 5 -10 years experience
  • Proven success within other Biotech or Pharmaceutical companies
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and French
  • Previous experience in managing a team of Medical Affairs associates
  • Expert understanding of the local health care delivery systems
  • Ability to identify unmet medical, educational, and research needs
  • Strong comprehension of disease states, knowledge of differential algorithms for treatment decisions
  • Preferably a track record in Haemato-Oncology
  • Ability to interpret key scientific data
  • Understanding of the design and execution of research studies
