About the role
- Apply selection standards to determine which files should be submitted for quotation
- Collect and validate the data required for preparing quotations and renewals
- Establish the financial terms for assigned quotation files and validate work performed by technicians
- Determine renewal terms for groups and prepare supporting renewal documentation
- Assess the impact of changes to group benefit plans
- Negotiate renewal terms for assigned groups with representatives of the sales team
- Participate in the maintenance, enhancement, and updating of the software and tools required for producing renewals and quotations
- Participate in departmental projects and collaborate with other departments within the vice-presidency
- Act as a point of contact for updating the department’s work procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in group insurance pricing
- Proficiency with advanced Excel functions
- Fluent in French and advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
