About the role

  • Apply selection standards to determine which files should be submitted for quotation
  • Collect and validate the data required for preparing quotations and renewals
  • Establish the financial terms for assigned quotation files and validate work performed by technicians
  • Determine renewal terms for groups and prepare supporting renewal documentation
  • Assess the impact of changes to group benefit plans
  • Negotiate renewal terms for assigned groups with representatives of the sales team
  • Participate in the maintenance, enhancement, and updating of the software and tools required for producing renewals and quotations
  • Participate in departmental projects and collaborate with other departments within the vice-presidency
  • Act as a point of contact for updating the department’s work procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in group insurance pricing
  • Proficiency with advanced Excel functions
  • Fluent in French and advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
