About the role

  • We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Consultant to join our wonderful Corporate Benefits team! This is an ideal internal progression step for those wanting to take the next step into broking consultancy. As an Associate Risk Consultant you will provide consultancy services on Risk Benefits to a portfolio of mid to high value customers who will predominantly be based on our online flexible benefits platform - OneHub. Managing, retaining, and growing corporate customers that span multiple service lines within Group Risk such as Group Life Assurance, Income Protection, Critical Illness, Travel Insurance and Partner Life Assurance etc. Contributing to profitable revenue growth across multiple services and the achievement of the Corporate Benefits’ team strategy, plans and targets. Build detailed knowledge of each of customer account, their risk strategy/approach and decision makers to fully understand their aims, objectives and ambitions. Secure broking meetings, coordinating relevant product and service experts and stakeholders as required. Compile and lead high quality presentations and negotiations. Expand the level of business within existing services and expand the number of services per customer (cross sell). To ensure timely delivery of agreed services to the client in line with the Benifex project plan. Work closely with Benifex Client Service Directors and Strategic Consultancy team members to deliver terms as required by the business. This may involve weekly project calls and attending and presenting at quarterly client meetings

Requirements

  • Proven successful track record of Risk benefits administration and/or consulting to customers Good knowledge of how Group Risk products (Group Life Assurance, Income Protection, Critical Illness, Travel Insurance and Partner Life Assurance etc.) Ideally GR1 qualified , or happy to work towards the qualification. Understanding of FCA procedures and requirements Able to recognise and ensure delivery of customer service excellence Excellent customer relationship building and stakeholder management skills with ability to build a network of contacts, both internally and externally A willingness to learn the art of influencing and to develop negotiation skills Ability to work cross functionally across diverse teams, facilitating collaborative working to ensure delivery for customers Effective communication skills , both verbal and written
