About the role
- Maintain clean, accurate financial records that enable leadership to make confident decisions.
- Monitor financial performance and help ensure discipline as the business scales.
- Help ensure our financial operations are reliable, compliant, and future-ready.
- Contribute to process improvements and automation that strengthen how the Finance team operates.
- Prepare journal entries.
- Perform monthly balance-sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly close and financial statements.
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of records.
- Support financial reporting for internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support audit execution.
- Track performance against budgets.
- Identify trends, discrepancies, and risks.
- Support financial planning discussions.
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and other teams.
- Build strong working relationships across departments.
- Support automation and process optimization initiatives.
- Contribute to a high-trust, high-accountability finance culture.
Requirements
- 1+ years of accounting experience (startup or tech is a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills
- Experience with accounting or finance systems
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
