About the role
- Influence: Make an impact on one or more projects or products
- Technology: Highly proficient in one or more technologies within the Software Engineering discipline. Particularly skilled in one or more technologies
- System: Reliably scope, estimate, design, and deliver medium-to-large features while reducing the technical debt of one or more projects or products
- People: Proactively support other team members and help them to be successful
- Process: Follow the team processes, delivering a consistent flow of features to production
- Leverage test-driven development to deliver backend systems and user interfaces to ease development and integration between them
- Contribute to the development of APIs, specifications, and data models, facilitating integration with frontend applications and third-party systems
- Design, implement, and maintain data interactions. Optimize data operations for performance and scalability, and ensure data integrity and security
- Design and develop user interfaces, informed by UX designs that meet customer needs
- Understand and contribute to functional and non-functional automated testing suites
Requirements
- US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US
- Has been living in the US for at least the past 3 years
- Successful candidate is subject to a background investigation by the government and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a position of Public Trust
- Experience with application development using Java/Springboot, Typescript, and Angular
- Experience with unit-test automation
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools like New Relic, CloudWatch, Splunk
- Experience with Relational Databases
- Knowledge of AWS services
- Experience with Camunda Workflows highly preferred
- Experience on a large-scale system with over 100 users
- Knowledge of PostgresSQL, Query/Performance Tuning
- Experience in healthcare technology, FHIR, AI/ML is a plus
