About the role

  • Prepare, secure and support employee representative bodies: Works Council (CSE), committees, collective bargaining, etc.
  • Prepare, negotiate and support the implementation of company agreements.
  • Actively contribute to the social relations strategy in a multi-site/multi-establishment context.
  • Participate in the preparation and monitoring of major projects (e.g., reorganizations, organizational changes, establishment creation, M&A transactions, etc.).
  • Proactively propose methods, approaches and best practices for social dialogue at Bel.
  • Provide ad hoc legal advice on sensitive individual cases, in close collaboration with HR Business Partners (HRBPs).
  • Ensure HR decisions are legally secured by proposing pragmatic, operational solutions adapted to the business context.
  • Maintain continuous legal monitoring and contribute to promoting a clear, accessible employment law culture.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (Master 2) in Employment/Social Law.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in employment law, gained in-house and/or in a law firm, within a complex, multi-site environment.
  • Experience or exposure to transformation projects, restructurings or M&A transactions is highly valued.
  • Proven experience contributing actively to employee representative bodies and company-level negotiations.
  • Strong English skills, with a genuine interest in working in an international environment.
  • Strong sense of confidentiality and professional ethics.
  • Partner-oriented approach focused on support and co-construction.
  • Intellectual curiosity, ability to take a strategic view and understand business challenges.
  • Excellent active listening, analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to adapt communication to diverse stakeholders and to demonstrate appropriate assertiveness.
