About the role
- Prepare, secure and support employee representative bodies: Works Council (CSE), committees, collective bargaining, etc.
- Prepare, negotiate and support the implementation of company agreements
- Actively contribute to the social relations strategy across multiple sites
- Participate in the preparation and monitoring of major projects (e.g., reorganisations, changes in organisation, creation of entities, M&A transactions, etc.)
- Propose methods, approaches and best practices for social dialogue at Bel
- Provide ad hoc legal advice on sensitive individual situations, working closely with HRBPs
- Ensure HR decisions are legally secure by proposing pragmatic, operational solutions adapted to the business context
- Maintain ongoing legal monitoring and contribute to promoting a clear and accessible culture of employment law.
Requirements
- Master's degree (Master 2) in Labor/Employment Law
- Minimum 6 years' experience in labor/employment law, gained in-house and/or at a law firm, in a complex multi-site environment
- Experience or exposure to transformation projects, restructurings or M&A transactions is highly valued
- Proven active contribution to employee representative bodies and company-level negotiations
- Good command of English, with a genuine interest in working in an international environment
- Strong sense of confidentiality and professional ethics
- Partner-oriented mindset, focused on support and co-construction
- Intellectual curiosity, ability to take a step back and understand business issues
- Excellent active listening, analytical and synthesis skills
- Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to adapt communication to varied interlocutors and to demonstrate appropriate assertiveness
