About the role

  • Contribute to defining the Group’s overall M&A strategy
  • Continuously identify new investment, acquisition and divestment opportunities across the Group’s key regions
  • Oversee target mapping and coordinate initial outreach phases
  • Lead and supervise financial, strategic and operational analyses of targets: business plan modelling, valuation, synergy assessment and risk identification
  • Lead due diligence processes in coordination with internal teams and external advisors
  • Prepare, coordinate and lead negotiations with counterparties and define transaction structures
  • Ensure the drafting, review and validation of contractual documentation
  • Manage M&A projects end-to-end: timeline management, stakeholder coordination, reporting and overall project governance
  • Drive cross-functional project teams including finance, tax, legal, HR, IT and operations
  • Ensure post-acquisition follow-up: closing, integration, performance monitoring and compliance with deal commitments
  • Prepare presentations, executive summaries and reports for the Corporate Group M&A Director, the Executive Committee and internal governance bodies
  • Communicate proactively and transparently on project progress to all relevant departments

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (Business School, Engineering School or equivalent)
  • Significant experience (10+ years) in corporate M&A, investment banking, private equity or transaction advisory
  • Strong knowledge of financial modelling, valuation techniques, and the legal and tax aspects of transactions
  • Excellent strategic and analytical capabilities (ability to synthesize information, rigorous approach)
  • Leadership skills with proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating and structuring complex, international transactions
  • High level of autonomy, results-oriented mindset, strong commercial awareness and adaptability
  • Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus depending on the Group’s international scope
