About the role

  • Participate actively in the month-end close process, reconciling Sales / COGS / A&P / CAM for Bel brands
  • Manage financial analysis, identify and understand variances; propose and implement solutions.
  • Contribute to monthly and annual senior management reporting.
  • Master Data responsibilities, maintaining financial data (CCR / Transfer Pricing) in systems.
  • Serve as the primary finance partner to the Supply Chain and Marketing teams for cost tracking and analysis.
  • Maintain up-to-date P&Ls by customer and by product.
  • Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Identify and analyze financial metrics to assess performance and formulate recommendations.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues across the organization.
  • Understand and continuously work to improve processes, including tools and methodology.
  • Special projects and other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • CPA designation is an asset
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in financial analysis or accounting; experience in a public accounting firm is an asset.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Curiosity about the story behind the numbers.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; advanced skills in Excel and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of reporting systems (SAP, BPC & BW).
  • Ability to learn and master new tools in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).
