About the role
- Develop, monitor and adjust production schedules taking into account customer orders, sales forecasts and production capacities.
- Ensure a balance between workload and available resources while guaranteeing on-time delivery.
- Update schedules in response to unforeseen events (delays, breakdowns, shortages, etc.).
- Define and sequence production operations according to priorities and technical constraints.
- Create and modify manufacturing orders.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with Procurement to ensure availability of raw materials and components.
- Optimize inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
- Monitor and analyze performance indicators (plan adherence, service level, productivity…), propose and drive corrective actions.
- Ensure cross-functional communication with all relevant departments (Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, Maintenance, Quality…).
- Contribute to the deployment and optimization of Supply Chain projects (physical vs. system inventory reconciliation, deployment and evolution of planning tools and ERP, flow management, etc.).
- Lead operational and cross-functional meetings related to projects.
- Support change management and the upskilling of teams on tools.
- Propose and implement actions to optimize processes, tools and working practices.
- Act as a key contact to ensure proper execution of the production plan and Supply Chain developments.
- Provide training to teams on new tools and best practices.
Requirements
- Technical education or experience, or solid Supply Chain/scheduling experience acquired internally.
- Demonstrated aptitude for production IT systems and tools (ERP, advanced Excel, Power BI…).
- Ability to bring teams together, support change and be proactive in proposing improvements.
- Hands-on mindset, rigor and responsiveness.
- Preferred experience (minimum 3 years) in planning/scheduling or Supply Chain project management, ideally in a demanding industrial environment (medium/large series production).
- Proficiency in English (minimum B1).
