About the role
- Lead Project Delivery: Guide complex initiatives from planning through implementation and closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time and aligned with business objectives.
- Support Agile Delivery Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams operating in Scrum or Kanban environments to ensure work is prioritized, organized, and progressing smoothly.
- Coordinate Across Teams: Partner with product, technology, operations, and vendor teams to manage dependencies and keep delivery efforts aligned.
- Maintain Project Visibility: Track and communicate project progress through dashboards, reporting tools, and stakeholder updates to ensure transparency across initiatives.
- Manage Project Plans and Resources: Develop and maintain project timelines, resource plans, and deliverables to support successful project outcomes.
- Oversee Project Financials: Manage budgets, forecasts, and vendor invoices while ensuring financial accuracy and alignment with project expectations.
- Remove Delivery Obstacles: Identify risks, resolve issues, and clear impediments that may impact project progress or team productivity.
- Support Governance and Compliance: Ensure project artifacts, documentation, and reporting align with PMO standards and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate Implementation Activities: Coordinate release planning, go-live preparation, and post-implementation activities to ensure successful delivery.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, collaboration, and project outcomes across teams.
- Take on Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to support the evolving needs of the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science, or related discipline required, or equivalent work or educational experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience leading complex enterprise initiatives in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban) with experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage project delivery and workflows.
- Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- PMP or similar project management certification preferred.
