Lead or support projects, initiatives, and feature delivery across BECU business units
Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to capture high-level requirements
Contribute to project governance processes and participate in steering committee discussions
Work with stakeholders to define project objectives, outcomes, and scope
Develop detailed work plans that outline tasks, timelines, and dependencies
Follow BECU’s project management methodology to ensure consistency, quality, and accountability
Maintain project documentation and artifacts
Assist with project financials including budget planning and tracking actuals against forecasts
Help organize and communicate project resource plans
Identify potential risks and challenges early
Coordinate work across multiple teams and stakeholders
Document release plans, go-live activities, and support planning
Identify opportunities to improve project delivery and team efficiency
Seek mentorship, coaching, and feedback while continuously building project management expertise

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business or computer science or equivalent work or educational experience required
Minimum 2 years of experience leading projects or serving in a project management type of role developing conceptual, organizational, analytical, and problem solving with proven ability to plan, organize, schedule, and implement multiple technical and business-related projects required
Professional project management certifications (e.g., Project Management Professional, Project Management Certification) preferred
Agile certifications and/or relevant education preferred (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, Agile Certified Practitioner).
Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments preferred.
