Controller

• Oversee the month-end close process, preparing financial statements, and handling advanced reconciliations, while working with the business stakeholders and the accounting team to reduce the number of days to close
• Manage day-to-day cash flow, including forecasting, monitoring bank balances, and ensuring adequate liquidity to meet operational needs and obligations.
• Partner closely with FP&A, Ad Revenue Operations, the CFO, and CEO to align financial reporting, forecasting, and business decisions, providing timely insights to support strategic planning.
• Lead the annual financial audit and preparation of support for audited financial statements
• Review account reconciliations and journal entries; prepare variance analyses and ensure accounting activities are well supported and documented
• Manage Accounting Team; provide mentorship and guidance while helping them to excel and grow in their roles
• Prepare financial deck for quarterly and ad hoc Board of Director meetings
• Oversee tax compliance and reporting, including state tax filings
• Solve complex problems and contribute to improving processes within the department and company

Sales

• The Director of Sales will play a key role in Bustle Digital Group’s growth.
• This is a unique opportunity for a strategic sales executive with deep experience and relationships in the Pharma & OTC space.
• The Director of Sales will have an established client list and will also have the opportunity and expectation to develop new sales opportunities for brands that have yet to advertise with BDG.
• The primary responsibility is to generate revenue across the current list and identify new business across the full BDG portfolio.

• Develop social-first branded video concepts and campaign ideas in response to RFPs and proactive opportunities
• Participate in brainstorms and shape creative strategy across video, social, talent, and platform ecosystems
• Create pitch materials including write-ups, scripts, treatments, storyboards, and visual references
• Present and pitch creative concepts to internal teams, agencies, and clients
• Translate client goals into culturally-relevant content ideas that feel native to platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging channels
• Oversee creative execution post-sale to ensure the original vision carries through production and post
• Collaborate closely with producers, editors, designers, and external production partners throughout execution
• Provide creative direction on shoots, edits, graphics, pacing, talent performance, and storytelling
• Stay tapped into platform trends, creator culture, internet behavior, and evolving social formats
• Adapt creative approaches across BDG’s distinct brands and audiences
