About the role
- Involves the development of cybersecurity centric test cases based on documented requirements and design.
- Develop automated and manual test cases for capital equipment and Cloud based devices.
Requirements
- A High School degree with at least 4 years of technical software experience or a BS degree is required.
- Experience with cybersecurity testing in the medical devices space is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Python (preferred). Experience with additional languages such as C#, Java, Kotlin or JavaScript is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, including system internals, networking, services.
- Azure and/or AWS security certifications (e.g., Azure Security Engineer Associate, AWS Security Specialty) or equivalent knowledge.
- Hands-on experience implementing/testing cloud‑based deployments, identity/access control, and secure configurations.
- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Selenium, custom frameworks).
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
- Hands-on experience testing REST, gRPC or message-based services.
- Hands-on experience testing Docker/Kubernetes microservices.
- Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing basics, and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC2, NIST, DOD etc.) is highly beneficial.
