About the role
- Lead activities related with data collection, analysis, and reporting for procurement projects, including spend analysis, supplier performance, and market research.
- Lead the development and implementation of sourcing strategies for various categories, including the preparation of RFQs (Request for Quotations) and bid analysis.
- Contribute to supplier relationship management activities, such as maintaining supplier databases and assisting with performance reviews.
- Participate in cross-functional projects related to cost reduction, process improvement, and supply chain optimization.
- Prepare presentations and reports for internal stakeholders on procurement initiatives and outcomes.
- Help maintain and update procurement documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the Global Procurement team.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global team environment.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Must have the ability to work on several projects simultaneously
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment of accountability
- Must be able to analyze data/make data-based recommendations
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Prior internship or project experience in a business or procurement-related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to commit to a full-time internship for a duration of 1 year.
