About the role
- Achieve and exceed sales quotas for Bard Peripheral Vascular products within the New Orleans territory.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.
- Build and maintain strong, credible relationships with vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, cardiologists, cath lab staff, and other key healthcare professionals.
- Conduct product demonstrations and in-service training for customers on the proper use and benefits of Bard Peripheral Vascular devices.
- Provide clinical and technical support during procedures, ensuring optimal product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and product knowledge to effectively position Bard Peripheral Vascular solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, clinical, and customer service to leverage resources and address customer needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management in CRM system.
- Participate in national and regional sales meetings, product launches, and professional conferences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a life science, business, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of successful medical device sales experience preferred, with a strong preference for vascular or interventional cardiology experience.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
- Demonstrated clinical and technical skills for understanding complex medical devices and procedures.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and social skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce.com).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to the New Orleans territory.
