About the role
- Responsible for leading the BCD Travel team's effort to obtain profitable, new national corporate travel accounts using sales and marketing techniques
- Engage with pre-qualified leads to convert business opportunities in the small to mid-market segment
- Maintain and increase revenues through new client acquisition
- Convert pre-qualified leads to contracted accounts
- Ensure opportunity for client up-selling engagements
- Use and adhere to the sales process outlined by sales management
- Identify competitive threats and emerging problems and offers
- Establish and maintain relationships with key prospects and existing client decision-makers at all levels
- Coordinate all client pricing with pricing teams
- Use company-provided CRM to document and support all sales activities
- Maintain detailed records and document sales efforts and correspondence for review
- Oversee the implementation of new business, working closely with implementation teams to ensure client expectations are achieved
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German are required
- Successful experience closing qualified leads
- Motivated by a performance incentive plan
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically
- Experience in remote selling
- Business travel industry experience is preferred
