About the role

  • Responsible for leading the BCD Travel team's effort to obtain profitable, new national corporate travel accounts using sales and marketing techniques
  • Engage with pre-qualified leads to convert business opportunities in the small to mid-market segment
  • Maintain and increase revenues through new client acquisition
  • Convert pre-qualified leads to contracted accounts
  • Ensure opportunity for client up-selling engagements
  • Use and adhere to the sales process outlined by sales management
  • Identify competitive threats and emerging problems and offers
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key prospects and existing client decision-makers at all levels
  • Coordinate all client pricing with pricing teams
  • Use company-provided CRM to document and support all sales activities
  • Maintain detailed records and document sales efforts and correspondence for review
  • Oversee the implementation of new business, working closely with implementation teams to ensure client expectations are achieved

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German are required
  • Successful experience closing qualified leads
  • Motivated by a performance incentive plan
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically
  • Experience in remote selling
  • Business travel industry experience is preferred
