About the role
- Design, build, and ship the systems and infrastructure that power the Bazaarvoice Content & Creators products
- Provide reliable, robust, and fast CI/CD pipelines
- Create tooling to improve developer experience
- Develop and test disaster recovery scenarios
- Assist with infrastructure planning, implementation and cost management.
- Continuously monitor and improve our infrastructure for performance, stability, scalability, and security.
- Implement security best practices, from OS-level patches to internal processes
- Participate in the on-call engineering rotation
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in a software engineering or DevOps role and 2+ years experience supporting high-availability systems on GCP (additional AWS experience is good to have).
- Experience building or supporting services in a service-oriented architecture.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform experience preferred).
- Experience in data streaming and messaging middlewares (GCP pub/sub, Kafka, Kinesis, SQS/SNS, etc.) and Elastic Search clusters.
- Experience creating and managing a CI/CD pipeline (preferably as code), with continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins, Github Actions etc) and version control (Git).
- Experience deploying containerized applications (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker), load and/or performance testing.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as ELK stack, Grafana), experience in agile methodologies and managing databases (one of the 3 - Mongodb, Cassandra , Redis , BigQuery etc )
