About the role
- Provides critical support to the Human Resources team by coordinating and executing key HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Focuses on maintaining data integrity within the HR systems, supporting organizational structure changes, processing employee actions, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Works closely with the HRIS Analyst and People Team to ensure smooth execution of operational HR functions.
- Handles operational HR functions helping to build a strong foundation for scalable growth.
- Enters, maintains, and audits employee information in the HRIS system (e.g., UKG, Workday)
- Supports the processing and documentation of job changes, reporting structure updates, and department realignments.
- Partners with the HRIS Analyst to perform regular audits for data accuracy and integrity.
- Supports employee lifecycle events including onboarding, offboarding, and internal transfers.
- Assists in ensuring alignment of job titles, ranks, and organizational structures with internal frameworks.
- Prepares reports, dashboards, and organizational charts.
- Coordinates personnel action approvals, ensuring compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
- Responds to employee and manager inquiries regarding HR policies, processes, and system navigation.
- Participates in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining HR operational processes.
- Assists with HR projects such as compliance reporting, data analysis, and policy documentation updates.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational information at all times.
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or other HR certifications are a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in HR, HR operations, or related administrative roles
- Experience working with HRIS systems and understanding of personnel processes required (UKG or Workday is a plus)
- Familiarity with HR processes and employment laws.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as UKG, Workday, ADP, or similar systems is strongly preferred.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
