About the role

  • Handle the full accounting cycle including: General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Bank & Cash reconciliations Accruals and provisions.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual Trial Balances.
  • Ensure proper posting of journal entries in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Review and reconcile intercompany transactions (if applicable).
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist in preparation of financial statements when required.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
  • Lead and execute Odoo Accounting module implementation.
  • Configure: Chart of Accounts, Taxes, Journals, Fiscal positions, Multi-company and multi-currency setups (if applicable).
  • Migrate opening balances and historical data into Odoo.
  • Ensure correct mapping between legacy systems and Odoo.
  • Validate accounting workflows and ensure system accuracy.
  • Train finance team users on Odoo accounting processes.
  • Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
  • Work closely with management to customize accounting workflows where needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience using Odoo (Accounting & Implementation).
  • Strong experience as a Senior General Accountant.
  • Proven experience delivering complete Trial Balances independently.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Experience with multi-entity environments is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
