Lead the execution of the Global Seed Stewardship and Event Program in the region handling seeds throughout the product life cycle
Build trust, motivate and empower Seed Stewardship and Event Program stakeholders for proper execution and compliance
Plan and execute annual Seed Stewardship activities in North America (Canada, United States) including visits/inspections/audits, moving seeds, reviewing contracts, and training
Lead training and educational initiatives to ensure standardized practices aligned with ETS and ISO 9001:2015
Generate and facilitate strategic relationships within the company, with third parties and external organizations to streamline processes and communications
Support business decisions with focus on genetic integrity of BASF products and business continuity
Provide regional visibility of activities and results through periodic reporting and communication
Manage the area budget through planning and evaluating company needs
Requirements
BS required, MS preferred (Biology, Agronomy, Plant Science, Plant Breeding, Entomology, or Plant Pathology)
Solid experience in agricultural biotechnology and the seed business
8 years of Experience in Regulatory Affairs, Research and Development, Genetic Improvement or Seed Production
Experience in the implementation of Integrated Management Systems, quality assurance and control associated with the agricultural market and plant biotechnological materials
Scientific knowledge in plant biotechnology techniques; quality assurance and control of plant biotechnological materials, agriculture and plant improvement
