About the role

  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals and objectives in the Turf and Ornamental market
  • Developing customer business relationships that create long term value for BASF and our customers
  • Implementation and execution of field tactical activities that maintain and grow our product portfolio
  • Functioning as BASF’s face to our customers, as well as many other market influencers and industry partners
  • Traveling up to 50% to support customers in Florida

Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years' overall agronomic industry experience (ex: Ornamentals,Turf and/or Agricultural Products and/or Lawn Care & Maintenance and/or related disciplines).
  • Have 5 years Sales experience in the Ag -Ornamental/Turf industry.
  • Have a previous direct sales experience and account/territory management/planning experience.
  • Demonstrate a strong customer focus and entrepreneurial skills, excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to influence and effectively communicating across the business.
