About the role

  • Responsible for creating uniquely tailored blends to meet the diverse requirements of Refining Catalysts' global customers.
  • Collaborate closely with the Quality Department across various sites and Product Management to address specific needs.
  • Engage daily with the Logistics Supervisor, Production Planner, and Supply Chain Clerk to maintain and coordinate schedules.
  • Issue daily work instructions detailing blending and shipping plans and provide off-shift guidance for supervisors and operators.
  • Monitor inventories of all component materials to maintain adequate levels for blending activities, ensuring SAP reflects the physical inventory.
  • Lead and coordinate blending activities at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Optimize component location by issuing rail switch instructions as needed.
  • Coordinate with both sister sites and the third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse to oversee product transfers and the drayage of containers.

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or quality‑focused environment with a high school diploma or equivalent, or hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field with limited experience.
  • Hold experience in the refining industry, with such background considered strongly preferred.
  • Exhibit the ability to work independently under broad objectives with minimal guidance, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership capabilities with an emphasis on relationship building and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Command proficiency in SAP PPM, MS Office, and other Yard Management Systems (YMS), with such knowledge preferred.
