About the role
- Review monthly demand forecast, validate demand with country and coordinate with regional team
- Ensure supply demand balance
- Drive the monthly site Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Process by organizing relevant data, updating KPI's and facilitation of the monthly meetings
- Negotiate in S&OP meeting with target groups
- Review the regional supply plan for Raw Materials, OMP, and tolling products
- Fine tune the replenishment plan, review stock point and safety stock level, propose stock keeping to business unit to optimize service level and business growth
- Review the rough-cut production plan for regional OMP & tolling production
- Optimize capacity available to drive for full utilization, propose production plan product mix to optimize under and over asset utilization
- Communicate with regional planner and service platform to integrate the master schedule into the distribution plan in line with supply chain strategies and policies
- Responsible for shortage management for both merchandises, regional OMP and tolling including internal communication with different groups, allocation, and drive for fulfillment of allocation from supplying site to minimize business loss and pending backlog
- Manage inventory at target level including finish, import and tolling commercial products and raw materials
- Define inventory target to guarantee service level while keeping overall balance between inventory level and service level
- Plan and schedule to purchase raw material volume and arrival date to fulfill production schedule planed
- Manage replenishment order (PO) of raw materials for production, merchandise and tolling business
- Maximize Delivery in Full on Time performance in line with Business strategy
- Be the service contact for any third party(internal/external) of the assigned responsibility area and ensure consistent processes to all parties
- Identify, evaluate, and optimize supply chain initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or any related fields
- Minimum 5 years of experience in material management and supply/production planning role, chemical industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of SAP MM module, SAP APO DP and SNP modules, MS software e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
- Project Management skills
- Knowledge of logistics and material flow
- Good command of spoken and written communication skills in English and local language(s)
- Self-motivated with high sense of urgency, resourcefulness, and adaptability
- Ability to coordinate across functions and locations to ensure successful outcomes
- Effective time management skills including sequencing of own work and resource management
- Strong analytical and logical thinking, decision making skills, ability to initiate process improvement
