About the role
- You will be the primary contact for Product Solutions topics like SDS, Labeling and rulesets for internal stakeholders and customers in the whole Asia Pacific.
- You consult with the global team about relevant regulations and best practices related to product safety and labeling.
- Your insights will help shape strategies and ensure that all teams are aligned with compliance requirements.
- You are responsible for providing comprehensive expertise on Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and Label content, ensuring that all materials meet regulatory compliance standards across the APAC region.
- Your role is crucial in maintaining the accuracy and relevance of SDS documentation.
- You maintain and update SAP databases, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Your attention to detail will be essential in managing the flow of information.
- Additionally, you will serve as the EHS master data gatekeeper for the introduction of new raw materials in the region and work closely with our APAC plants.
Requirements
- Completed scientific studies (B.Sc or M. Sc) in natural science.
- Well-versed in IT applications, with at least 3 years working experience in SAP EHS system in product safety or chemical legislation area, coatings, fine chemical industrial relevant experience preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate regulatory/technical information at all levels of the organization and APAC region.
- High level of commitment and teamwork skills, flexibility, customer orientation, as well as independent and structured work approach.
- Experience in developing and managing projects, as well as analyzing and solving problems.
- Clear and authentic communication skills in English
- Entrepreneurial thinking, pragmatism, and hands-on mentality.
