About the role
- Conduct field trial protocols that support hybrid wheat breeding programs
- Set up, maintain, and analyze field trials
- Identify suitable trial sites and prepare fields
- Perform plantings and implement crop protection measures
- Monitor pest and disease pressure and collect phenotypic data
- Ensure accurate and precise documentation
- Analyze seed quality and evaluate trial data
Requirements
- Degree in Agricultural Sciences or a related field such as Crop Science, Weed Science, or Agrisystems
- Minimum of two years’ professional experience conducting small-plot trials, ideally with wheat
- Solid experience operating agricultural machinery and familiarity with trial management and data-capture software
- Very good command of English and good command of German
- Driving licence class B; class T (tractor) is a plus
- Team-oriented personality with high self-initiative, strong organizational skills, and willingness to work outdoors under variable conditions
