About the role

  • Assume full commercial responsibility for driving sales of Polyurethanes in a dynamic and competitive environment.
  • Take ownership of selling Polyurethanes systems to the North African market.
  • Educate customers about the unique properties and benefits of Polyurethanes for their specific needs.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of complex accounts by identifying new business opportunities.
  • Maintain strong and lasting relationships with customers and deliver exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Propose Polyurethane-based solutions tailored to address customer challenges.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to secure growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues to develop strategies positioning Polyurethanes as the preferred choice in target sectors.
  • Provide tailored solutions that meet customer technical and commercial requirements, including offering technical support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry or a related scientific field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience within the chemical business, ideally with exposure to the North African market.
  • Knowledge of the chemistry and processing is highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Arabic, French, English and Italian is mandatory.
  • Strong negotiation, decision-making and communication skills, coupled with a winning mentality and growth-oriented mindset.
  • A self-motivated and conscientious individual with a customer-focused approach and the ability to thrive in a competitive environment.
  • A valid driving license and a willingness to travel throughout North Africa and abroad as needed.
