About the role
- Assume full commercial responsibility for driving sales of Polyurethanes in a dynamic and competitive environment.
- Take ownership of selling Polyurethanes systems to the North African market.
- Educate customers about the unique properties and benefits of Polyurethanes for their specific needs.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of complex accounts by identifying new business opportunities.
- Maintain strong and lasting relationships with customers and deliver exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Propose Polyurethane-based solutions tailored to address customer challenges.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to secure growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing colleagues to develop strategies positioning Polyurethanes as the preferred choice in target sectors.
- Provide tailored solutions that meet customer technical and commercial requirements, including offering technical support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry or a related scientific field.
- A minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience within the chemical business, ideally with exposure to the North African market.
- Knowledge of the chemistry and processing is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of Arabic, French, English and Italian is mandatory.
- Strong negotiation, decision-making and communication skills, coupled with a winning mentality and growth-oriented mindset.
- A self-motivated and conscientious individual with a customer-focused approach and the ability to thrive in a competitive environment.
- A valid driving license and a willingness to travel throughout North Africa and abroad as needed.
