About the role

  • Provide efficient order management, manage interfaces with customers for order to cash processes
  • Provide improvements to supply chain management
  • Effectively communicate and resolve order issues with customers and sales
  • Responsibility of placing replenishment purchase order to supply source and monitor the delivery schedule
  • Manage Master Data maintenance process to ensure effective order management
  • Capture market intelligence on the supply chain related topics from daily interaction with customers
  • Contribute to development of customer relationships through proactive customer communication
  • Support Credit Management, Billing and Accounts Receivable Follow-up
  • Handle customer complaints in BASF’s available system
  • Capture customer expectations / requirement and feedback to the business team

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in business administration or familiar areas
  • Experience in customer service in an international company for more than 2 years or relevant work experience in SCM/sales/controlling
  • Chemical industry background preferred
  • Experience in using ERP systems such as SAP (at least intermediate level)
  • Experience with data analytics or reporting systems (e.g. PowerBI) is a plus
  • Understanding of end-to-end OTC process
  • Good proficiency in Japanese language and English
  • Proactive, can work independently and in teams
