About the role

  • Optimising the organisation’s business operations through effective use of customs facilities
  • Assessing and leveraging relevant customs legislations for cost efficiency and compliance
  • Providing guidance and processing exemptions related to customs duties
  • Managing the refund process for import and export
  • Maintaining documentation to support compliance requirements
  • Proactively planning responses to legislative changes

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of customs legislations and their related facilities
  • Experience in managing customs facilities in the Asia-Pacific region
  • Knowledge of the Customs Act and Sales Tax Act
  • Experience in providing guidance on customs duties and sales tax exemptions
  • Ability to manage documentation for compliance requirements
  • Collaborative skills to work with consultants and service providers.
